Alan Clark

I’m a Senior Principal and Head of Machine Learning Engineering at PhysicsX - a deep-tech company of scientists and engineers, developing machine learning applications to massively accelerate numerical simulations and enable a new frontier of optimization opportunities in physical design and engineering.

Following three years at each of BP and Deloitte as a developer, data engineer and data scientist, I undertook an MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the University of Cambridge in 2021/22, for which I was awarded a Distinction.

I'm passionate about working with scientists and engineers to identify ways that AI can have a transformative and lasting positive impact; unlocking unprecedented innovation at scale.
